One (01) CARRIER IT ENGINEER (REF: TPC-0423R09CITE)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Carrier IT Business including Storage and Cloud in Cote d’Ivoire.
- Engage with Carrier customers in activities like network (switch, router, and firewall) maintenance and infrastructure (servers and storage) maintenance.
- Work with the Delivery Team, support the IT projects, and achieve delivery and maintenance targets (hardware, cloud system, virtualization, VM migration, server, storage, database, OS, VM).
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- A Master’s degree in IT Engineering or relevant field, with five (05) years of relevant experience in IT with progressively responsible positions, of which two (02) years in an IT industry as IT Engineer.
- A higher qualification will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of industry trend including data communication, storage, cloud and server.
- Have successful experiences of IT projects work as the core member.
- Good Experience in EMC, IBM, HP, CISCO, Huawei and other vendors’ hardware and system or integrators related to these vendors is preferred.
- Proven track record of engage and maintenance capability to ensure IT network stability and reliability.
- Proven track record of cyber security security compliance and certification if any.
- Ability to use managerial, delegation, political, tact and supervisory skills to achieve strategic objectives.
- Ability to work effectively with people from various backgrounds and create an environment where diversity is respected.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and leverage strategic opportunities and risks.
- Ability to actively seek, identify and apply appropriate technology to improve programme delivery.
- Ability to delegate the appropriate responsibility, accountability and decision-making authority with regard to performance management and professional development.
- Fluent in English is a must.
